Who we are

These terms are between you and Komal Amin, an individual based in the UK (not a company), who runs Grant Goblin. "Grant Goblin" means the website, the app and the connector for AI apps that we run under that name.

What Grant Goblin does

Grant Goblin helps you find grants, credits, fellowships, prizes and programmes, keep a pipeline of them, and write applications. Grant drafts answers from facts you have confirmed. You review everything, then send it yourself on the funder's site.

The beta

• Grant Goblin is free while it is in beta.
• It is provided "as is". It may contain bugs, and it may change.
• We may change or end the beta. If we plan to charge for the service, we will tell you before we do.
• We may limit how many people can sign up. If we reach the limit, you may be added to a waitlist.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over to use Grant Goblin.
• Use an email address that you control.
• Keep your sign-in codes and connector keys private. You are responsible for anything done with them.
• If a connector key may have leaked, revoke it in the app straight away.

Funding information is not guaranteed

• We check funder pages, but we can be wrong or out of date.
• Always check the funder's own page for deadlines, amounts and rules before you apply.
• Nobody can promise you will get funding. We cannot either.

Not advice

Grant Goblin does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Do not rely on anything it produces as advice. Speak to a qualified professional where you need one.

Your applications

• Grant never submits an application or sends an email for you. You press send yourself.
• You are responsible for everything you submit, including whether it is accurate.
• AI-drafted text can be wrong. Check every answer against your own facts before you use it.

Connected AI apps

You can connect an AI app, such as Claude, to your Grant account. The AI app then works through the connector on your behalf. Its own terms apply to your chats with it, and we do not control what it does with the access you give it. Revoke the connector when you stop using it.

Your content

• You keep ownership of what you give us, such as your profile, documents, notes and answers.
• You give us permission to store and process that content so that we can run Grant Goblin for you. This includes passing it to the service providers named in our privacy policy.
• When you share a find through your AI, its link and title may become a lead for the shared catalogue. Leads reach the catalogue only after they have been checked and reviewed.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use Grant Goblin to break the law or to harm anyone;
• scrape, copy in bulk or resell our catalogue, or automate use beyond your own AI connector;
• try to reach another person's account or data, or get around sign-in limits or rate limits;
• upload files you have no right to, or send abusive content;
• share your sign-in codes or connector keys with others, or interfere with the service.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for missed deadlines, funding decisions, errors in funder information or AI-drafted text, problems on third-party sites or in connected AI apps, or indirect or consequential losses. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, while Grant Goblin is free, the most we are liable for, in total, is £100.

Ending your use

You can stop using Grant Goblin at any time. To delete your account, email privacy@grantgoblin.com. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we may end the beta.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top when we change these terms. If you keep using Grant Goblin after a change, you accept the new terms. For big changes, we will also tell you by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep any rights your local law gives you.
